Artist Statement

Storytelling through self portraiture is both a practice and a reckoning. It asks me to sit with discomfort, move through anxiety and self doubt, and remain present with whatever arises. Recognizing these emotional experiences as shared has become a way to process, ground, and build strength.

Through this practice, self portraiture allows me to step beyond comfort and embrace honesty.

Each image is an act of self witnessing, a space where vulnerability and resilience exist together. What begins as a personal exploration unfolds into visual narratives that reflect transformation, endurance, and moments of light.

My work is guided by the belief that presence itself can be restorative. By translating lived experience into conceptual imagery, I create space for reflection and invite viewers to see fragments of their own emotional landscape within the frame. Creating art that resonates with hope and resilience!
